Threw a new front tire on the bike.. So needed to rough it in, and what
better way to do so then take it up a 12,000 ft mountain after work. Just found this trail, it’s just outside of Rollinsville, Colorado..
and I
will definitely
be back...
New Kicks!
Parked here to run up to the summit to check the view.

Ya know, the more I think about it, the more likely it’s looking that a bike will be what replaces the Cougar. I haven’t been on one in nearly 20 years, but thoroughly have enjoyed my time on them. Plus a bike is more garage friendly, as far as space is concerned.
That looks like a cool ride.

Yeah man—- after realizing that you’re right here in Boulder zone too this am— you should def get a bike.. too much fun for living where we live.
And they are so easy to live with... cheap gas, cheap insurance and you can park them just about anywhere....
This WAS
a very cool ride. Never knew about that trail (kingston mountain)
till someone posted a pic of it on a FB page this weekend.. and I was blown away to find out it’s right in the backy
ard...

That depends on how good you are! Lol.. truth be told, I dumped the bike 3-4 times on the upper sections.. It gets pretty rocky/dusty/technical at the top..

It was really rough up top. Kept it upright though

Nice!—- I was a durangotuan for 16 years before moving up to the front range— Luv me some San Juans... (except the over-abundance of Rzr’s these days...)
I was actually back up at Kingston trail yesterday- used it to access James Peak, the 13'er overlooking that zone... Very rad. Topped out the peak and was looking down at Winter Park Resort over the other side.....
How was rimrocker? I’ve ridden a bunch of that zone (pardox over to La sals etc) But not since they pieced rimrocker together...
